A water softener or backwashing filter is a piece of equipment that can be used in your home to filter out minerals and more...

They remove:

Calcium and Magnesium

Iron ( Brown or yellow stains )

Manganese ( Black particles or dark drown to black satins)

Smell, or Chlorine

and more

A house on well water usually needs some kind of treatment.  A simple water softener can make a world of difference.  We sample your water at a local lab and choose the best type of filtration or treatment for your water.

The basics of Ion Exchange

Drinking / Potable Water - Ion Exchange

Well water with high amounts of

Iron or Manganese can be treated by adding another backwashing filter beside the water softener.  These filters reduce or eliminate Iron and Manganese, saving your softener and your home from their effects.

Reverse Osmosis

Reverse Osmosis is one of the best choices for your drinking water. It is used along with pre treatment to make most bottled water.

Manganese removal

Residential drinking water treatment devices are also an option for reducing high levels of manganese. Appropriate treatment methods for removal of manganese on a residential scale include, ion exchange/water softeners, and oxidizing filters.

Ultraviolet disinfection

UV can be an effective safety barrier in your water treatment system.
